Systems, quietly engineered.

§ 04 — Philosophy How I work
Notes, unedited
Useful beats clever. I care about software that earns its place — strong systems, clear interfaces, and engineering that holds up under real use.

I'm a software engineer with a strong eye for product, design, and systems. I like working across the stack, especially where backend architecture, UX, and developer experience need to pull in the same direction.

Most of my current energy goes into AI-native products, local-first tools, and workflow software. The short version: I like hard engineering problems, I move comfortably between product and implementation, and I care about shipping work that is technically sound and commercially useful.

Core tools and principles I keep reaching for.

  • Languages TypeScript, Rust, and Go when it's the right tool for the job.
  • Focus AI products, developer tools, workflow systems, and full-stack engineering.
  • Frontend Svelte, SvelteKit, Astro, Tailwind, and whatever modern frontend stack fits the problem.
  • Backend Bun, Node.js, APIs, Postgres, automation pipelines, and local-first systems.
  • Environment Linux, Ghostty, Zed, and a bias toward tools that stay fast and out of the way.
§ 05 — Correspondence
Open to strong roles and select projects

Write a letter, not a brief.

If you're hiring for software engineering, AI product work, or a role that needs strong product judgment alongside implementation, send a clear note. I'm especially interested in teams building useful tools, infrastructure, and AI systems with real-world value.
